Thank you to everyone who attended the first RSTN Trials Day. Over 65 delegates contributed to the lively discussions. Prof. Dion Morton opened the day with an inspiring talk on the importance of clinical trials and the impact they can have on patient care.

We heard from the RSTN on how to get involved, current issues with trials in plastic surgery and challenges faced when running a trial. The main focus of the second session was a series of short talks on proposed clinical trials. These provoked interesting debates on study design and further details on how to get involved with these will be announced shortly. We are grateful to the NIHR team for providing the GCP refresher course in the afternoon.
