RSTN Trainee Lead for Hand Surgery

A big thank you to Mo Akhavani for being the RSTN Trainee Lead for Hand Surgery. He is now stepping down, which means we have a vacancy.

We are looking for an enthusiastic trainee with an interest in hand surgery.

This position is part of the core leadership of the RSTN. Responsibilities include:

• Engaging orthopaedic hand surgeons
• Organising the annual RSTN Trials Day
• Co-ordinating prospective studies in hand surgery

It is essential to have an NTN in plastic surgery or orthopaedics. Previous experience of clinical trials or multi-centre research is not essential, but desirable. The term is for 12 months in the first instance.
