What next?……Time-lines and upcoming events

Save the date! – ADM and Mesh-assisted Implant Reconstruction Study Day and iBRA Launch Event – Monday 17th November – Birmingham

We are planning a study day as an opportunity for trainees and consultants to hear from experts in ADM and mesh assisted-implant-based reconstruction, learn tips and tricks for different techniques and hear about revisional surgery. The event will be free and lunch and refreshments provided. A flyer for the event is attached. We would love to see you there!

National Practice Questionnaire Study

We hope to have the National Practice Questionnaire Study completed by the end of the year. This will be written up early 2015 and abstracts summarising the findings submitted to all the major meetings (ABS, ASGBI, SABCS, BAPRAS etc). Please help us by completing the NPQ for your Unit. Every questionnaire makes our data set stronger and more useful!

Prospective Audit

We plan to recruit patients to the prospective audit until December 2015. We are aiming to recruit 1000 patients to the study making this the largest prospective cohort of implant-based breast reconstruction in the world. We are almost 10% there – with your help – we can do it!

Thank you to all our collaborators!
