Dear plastic surgery colleagues,

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery through the North West Deanery and the University of Manchester. This position holds a National Training Number (Academic) and we encourage the highest caliber of trainee at ST1-ST3 level to apply and be inspired to become a future academic leader in the specialty. Please alert all eligible doctors in training.

We have a strong partnership between clinical and academic training and there will be 25% of time allocated over 3 years to academic training at the University of Manchester. We have clinical and lab-based research projects which span from engineering to cell-matrix biology. The fellow will be strongly encouraged to apply for external fellowship funding towards a PhD.
